About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Freight Brokerage to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a senior member of the executive team, with a primary focus on overseeing the company's freight brokerage and 3PL services. This role involves working closely with the sales team and client base to identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as exploring strategic growth and expansion throughout North America. The Vice President will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the freight brokerage division, setting and achieving both short and long-term growth goals, and ensuring the division meets performance and financial targets. Applicants for this role should have a university degree in business, logistics, or a related field, with a preference for those holding a CITT-Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) designation. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a leadership role within the freight brokerage industry is required, along with a strong knowledge of transportation, logistics, and related services. The role demands a leader with superior communication skills, the ability to influence, high business acumen, and a proven track record of strategic thinking and tactical execution. The Vice President will also be responsible for coaching and leading their team, overseeing the development of carrier networks, and maintaining compliance with industry requirements.
