MEMX is seeking a QA Engineer to develop test scripts to enhance coverage on our recently launched equities exchange. The successful candidate will have the ability to write test scripts and assist with both functional and non-functional QA testing activities. Ideal candidates will have hands-on testing experience at a financial institution, preferably an exchange.

MEMX currently has a U.S. presence in these states: California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, & Utah.

Responsibilities:

1. Design effective component, system, functional, and application-level test scenarios aligned with business requirements and rules.
2. Implement automated testing across all functional areas.
3. Maintain test tools and manage non-production environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
• Ability to work independently within a remote team.
• 5+ years of QA/Software Testing experience within Financial Services Technology, preferably at an exchange.
• Strong automation skills, preferably in Java or Python.
• Knowledge of building tests with FIX, Binary, TCP, Multicast protocols.
• Ability to query and compare large datasets.
• Capability to thrive in a high-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
