Job Overview
ATC Healthcare Services, New York City is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in talent acquisition within the healthcare sector, demonstrating exceptional negotiation and communication skills. This role involves sourcing, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates in various healthcare positions, ensuring alignment with our organizational needs and culture. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

Recruitment (Candidate Side):

  • Source, attract, and engage healthcare professionals (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, caregivers, therapists, etc.) through job boards, databases, social media, and referrals.
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, and reference checks to assess candidate skills and compliance with healthcare requirements.
  • Manage credentialing and onboarding, including background checks, drug screens, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to ensure strong engagement and retention.

Business Development (Client Side):

  • Build and manage relationships with healthcare facilities, hospitals, assisted living centers, and other client partners.
  • Prospect new business opportunities and respond to staffing requests in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate bill rates, contracts, and placement terms.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction with placements and addressing concerns proactively.

Full-Desk Management:

  • Balance candidate sourcing and client relationship management simultaneously.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs such as placements, gross margin, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with compliance and payroll teams to ensure smooth onboarding and assignment transitions.
  • Track and manage recruitment activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or CRM.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare staffing or high-volume recruiting.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred 
  • Proven ability to manage both business development and recruiting (360/full-desk experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare credentialing, compliance, and industry regulations.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and clients simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with ATS, CRM, and common sourcing platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on relationship management and employee evaluation.
  • Experience with training & development initiatives as well as succession planning is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
