About this Position

As Finance Manager, you will bring solid, hands-on leadership along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will lead the accounting operations while partnering closely with the Managing Director, N.A., to provide strategic financial guidance and operational support across departments. As part of the global finance team, you will partner with other finance leaders across the organization. This role reports directly to the Managing Director North America with a dotted line to the Global CFO. Up to 10% travel days per year is expected (nationally and internationally).

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Lead the finance department, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Take an active role as financial business partner supporting Caljan US management team.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee cash flow management and financial risk assessment.
  • Responsible for local insurance program, investments, & state tax code setups, filings & changes.

Your Profile

Your Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is considered a plus.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years’ experience within finance, preferably from a similar position.
  • Manufacturing finance experience (preferred).
  • Proven leadership ability with a strategic mindset and a proactive, change-oriented approach.
  • Excellent understanding of financial software and tools.
