Position:  Executive Chef

Location:  Virginia Beach, VA

Compensation: up to $130k + Bonus + Benefits

We’re searching for a dynamic Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at a high-end, full-service hospitality venue in  Virginia Beach, Virginia . This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving, guest-focused property that values creativity, consistency, and strong kitchen leadership.

About the Role

As Executive Chef, you’ll oversee all culinary operations, lead a talented kitchen team, and drive menu innovation while ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be both a hands-on leader and a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale hospitality setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Lead all back-of-house operations, including food preparation, kitchen sanitation, inventory, and staff scheduling

· Develop seasonal menus and specials with a focus on guest satisfaction, local ingredients, and profitability

· Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing culinary team

· Monitor food and labor costs and implement strategies to optimize performance

· Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations

· Partner closely with the GM and FOH leadership on events, banquets, and F&B initiatives

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale or resort-style setting

· Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in a collaborative and professional environment

· Strong knowledge of inventory systems, food costing, and kitchen management software

· Culinary degree preferred, but not required

· Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable dining experiences

 

Compensation & Benefits

· Base salary up to $130,000, commensurate with experience

· Performance-based bonus plan
