Overview:

The Distribution Driver Helper is responsible for assisting delivery drivers with assigned route delivery functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers
• Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner
• Collect and return all payments as required
• Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned
• Collect empty boxes to be used for redelivery, as needed
• Ensure delivery logs are completed as required
• Ensure check-in procedures are followed daily
• Attend monthly safety meetings
• Take only safety courses and other classes as needed
• Report all moving violations to management
• Drive equipment in a professional and safe manner, as needed, within licensing requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience
• Must obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver's License - NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY
• Experience in a warehousing environment

Physical Demands:

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or an adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include an occasional to rare amount of time, including walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs
