The Customer Success Manager reports to the Director of Growth.
The perfect candidate for this role is a natural relationship-builder with a love for education and fluency with technology. The candidate will receive training in the OnCourse platform and have an opportunity to visit many school districts where the platform is in use. They will work closely with other departments, like Sales, Marketing, Project Management, and Support.
This role splits their time between customer success and business development. They help our Louisiana clients in a variety of ways, like training, showing off new technology, and coordinating the resources to solve issues. Much of this job can happen remotely, but we love spending time with our partners and require regular district visits. They will:
· Build relationships with key contacts in Louisiana school districts (clients and prospects)
· Help schools get the most value out of their OnCourse suite with training and consulting
· Offer triage support for urgent issues; refer users to support or development as needed
· Design and execute presentations at education conferences, arranging co-presenters when needed
· Organize remote/live user groups
· Support sales and marketing efforts with webinars, demonstrations, and discovery calls
· Stay up-to-date on Louisiana K-12 initiatives (LDOE initiatives, new Accountability metrics, etc.)
· Communicate with their community at scale by working with marketing on projects like blogs, videos, newsletters, etc.
Essential skills
· Experience in K-12 education preferred.
· Experience with OnCourse, or other LMS, Assessment, or MTSS systems is a major advantage.
· Excellent presentation skills for trainings and demonstrations
· Excellent written/spoken communication skills.
· Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and adapt with an entrepreneurial mindset.
· Ability and desire to travel within the state of Louisiana on district visits.
