This position ensures that company-directed visual merchandising strategies are executed to deliver a distinctive in-store experience for our consumers. This role will implement floor resets and visual displays per company standards, adapting to the individual store’s needs and layout and may be responsible for displays over multiple stores in a geographic region. THIS POSITION REQUIRES VISUALS MERCHANDISING IN-STORE FOUR DAYS PER WEEK AND ONE AT-HOME OFFICE DAY (WORK FROM HOME). LOCATIONS REQUIRED ARE IN NORTHERN COLORADO: Fort Collins, Johnstown, Thornton, and Longmont (TBD). Key responsibilities include executing visually appealing showroom displays to drive greater conversion in stores and increase brand loyalty; following planograms as established by visual leadership to position upholstered furniture, tables, lamps, accessories, and artwork to enhance the overall presentation of the showroom; refreshing and updating floor sets based on new intros, seasonal floor sets, upcoming promotions and inventory strategies; receiving, tagging, and transferring merchandise within the retail showroom; assembling furniture and climbing ladders to hang accessories or pictures as needed; assisting with merchandising for new stores, store closings, and regional remodels; collaborating with the store manager and other members of the visual merchandising team on merchandising efforts; participating in meetings to discuss products and accessories on the floor, style mix, display, and other pertinent information to the team; analyzing trends, shop competition and other areas for inspiration; embracing training, education, and development opportunities to continually improve knowledge and visual skills. The role impacts a retail division with over $900 million in annual sales, managing $60 million+ inventory, and 185+ retail locations including new store openings and remodels. Minimum requirements include 0-2 years of experience in visual merchandising or related field, understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques, strong design taste, sense of style, culture, art, design, fashion, innovation, and technology, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility to travel to multiple stores in a geographic region, familiarity with inventory management principles, physical ability to move furniture up to or over 50lbs, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and travel up to 75%. Physical demands include sitting, repetitive hand motion, hearing, talking, standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to or over 50 pounds.
